I have a used Sunlite Hawk camper (not sure of year) that I'm trying to figure out the weight of so I can do some math on towing capacity. Sunlite is out of business so I'm stumped on how to figure out the weight without simply weighing the truck and camper then subtract the truck weigh. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

I am afraid that you are going to have to use the truck and camper weighing option you mentioned. Unless one of our visitors actually knows the weight of this RV.

It is always better to know the actual weight of the camper so you can determine your towing capacity. Do not forget to fill up the fresh water tank before weighing. Before you weigh the camper you want to make sure that it is loaded like you are going on a trip so you can make calculations on its traveling weight and not just its dry weight.

I weighed my 1984 Sun Lite pop up truck camper. It never had a refrigerator the furnace has been replaced with a Camco Olympian Wave 3 heater. Camper dimensions are 86.5" bed length, 123.5" length overall, 37.5" width between wheel wells, 80" width overall, 54" high without roof vent. Dry weight is 695-pounds and and CG is 32.33" aft of the front of the truck bed. I weighed it 3-times to be sure of the weight and CG,

hi,according to the spec sheet in my sunlite hawk, the weight is 920lbs,max when it contains standard equipment,10gal.of water and 20lbs of bottled gas and 2.5cubic ft refriderator.hope this is of use,when was yours made?
