Hi all,
I've just bought an old Winnebago Elandan 87' and is costing me a fortune. It’s in the garage being serviced at the moment the bill will be in thousands. It looks like the generator has given up the ghost too. I have been told by the garage that the rotor has gone possibly the carburetor as well.
It's an Onan Emerald BGE 5.5 kw
Does anyone know a decent chap who can fix it at a reasonable price, or buy a second-hand one?
many thanks. Skender
ANSWER: Hi Skender Unfortunately I am based in the US and really do not know about repair shops in the UK that can repair your generator or even where you could buy a used generator.
One thing I can suggest is that you go to the Website and join their forums. The ARVClub is based out of the UK and is for UK RVers who own US-made RVs. You may get some good results if you post your request on their forums.
