How Do I Prepare My RV For Storing It Indoors In Arizona For The Summer?

What should we do for indoor storage with no power in Arizona for 6 months?

ANSWER: Greetings Al thanks for submitting your question on our Ask An RV Question Page.

I am going to assume that the Indoor storage facility you are using is not air conditioned. One thing you probably do not have to do is cover the RV during storage unless you want to keep it from getting dusty.

Another step I would urge you to take since there is no electricity is to disconnect and store your house batteries and chassis batteries. Before you disconnect the batteries you should check with the storage facility to make sure that they will allow you to do that.

If the RV you are talking about is a Motorhome then you should also use some Stabil-Fuel Stabilizer in the fuel tank.

Even though you are storing the RV inside you should still follow the procedures I outline in the answer I gave to the question below.

Hope this helps.
