Looking for a place to spend the winter......There is a place called Coyote Howls in a small town called Why, in Arizona south of Ajo.... they have free Wi-Fi, water, showers... A Dance every Friday night, Movie every Monday night, Hikes every week, card games, craft sales once a month...
For the people that stay for the winter there is a free Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner, you can volunteer to be a cook or server or clean up. not required but lot of fun. you may have a 8x10 shed on your lot for storage....
we are currently spending the winter here now and have had more fun than anywhere else we have been.......the one thing you do need is solar power there is no electric hook ups they do have water at most sites... and 5 dump stations.. a small golf course (a tough one) all in all a wonderful place to stay. And if you need electricity there is Coyote Howls west.
Editor's Note: Take a look at the video below for a bicycle tour of the Coyote Howls Campground.
