What Tool Do I Use To Remove The Weird Screws On a Holiday Rambler Generator Cover?

by Bruce
(Uniontown PA)

The screw heads on a 2008 Holiday Rambler generator cover have weird heads like a half round half hex with a half Phillips head in the center. What do I use to take these off?

ANSWER: Greetings Bruce thanks for submitting your question on our Ask An RV Question Page.

Since you do not tell me if you have a diesel or gas generator I cannot tell you for sure what Screw Drive Type they used as it will vary by model and type of generator. Based on your description it could be a Torx or Polydrive screw.

Wikipedia has a nice little Screw Drive Type Chart located HERE.

Once you have found the type screw it is you can locate a Screwdriver Bit Set On Amazon or at your local hardware store that has the bit you need to remove the screws.

Hope this helps.
