The Refrigerator In My RV Does Not Work On Propane

by Dolores
(Mesa, AZ)

I just got an older Motor home, I can't get propane to the refrig, it runs great on AC. I have propane to the the stove. Just can't figure out why it is not making it to the refrig. Got any suggestions???

Thanks, Dolores

But there are some routine maintenance steps that you can take that might solve the problem you are having.

Below is a video from RV Expert Mark Polk from RV Education 101, it gives you the proper steps to maintain your RV Refrigerator.

Dinosaur board?
by: Malakie

I too am having the same issue with a 1998 Four winds Wind sport. Runs fine on AC power but does not seem to kick in using propane once off of outside power. Stove and water heater do function however.

Anyhow, WHERE is the 'dinosaur' board located that was mentioned as being a possible problem?

Check you dinosaur board. That is most likely the culprit.
