When I first got my 34 ft. A Class, it runs on gasoline and has a Ford 460 with a Banks Kit, Headers and Exhaust.

It got 4.5 mpg empty with no belongings @ 55 mph. After a tune up, plugs, cap, rotor, wires, clean the cleanable air filter, an oil change to a quality synthetic oil, and filling all the tires to max capacity, it got 9.3 mpg fully loaded with 5 people and all the food, water and camping supplies.

I am looking for a good tuner chip for the computer, as well as Amsoil Synthetic Trans Fluid and all fluids in the spring,

i will post findings when I get them.

The unit gets 6.5 towing the drag car, the drag car ran 8.82 @ 149.95 mph. Trailer weighs 7500 lbs. The car gets a bigger motor in the spring so should go faster. The car gets 2.5 gallons to the mile, but it it is hard to wipe the smile from my face. see FaceBook "Hotrod Express"

better Fuel Mileage

K&N Air Filter

I changed my Air Filter to K&N and got 1/2 to 1 MPG. I know that doesn't sound like a lot but at 9 miles per gallon that totals up to 675 per 75-gallon tank whereas at 10 miles per gallon = 750 miles per tank or an extra 75 miles per tank.
