How Do I Find Out If The Recall Repair Has Been Done On My Skyline Trailer?

Hi,

My (new) '95 Skyline Aljo has had a recall on a heater ducting issue... How do i find out if that recall issue was fixed?

ANSWER Greetings John thanks for submitting your question on our Ask An RV Question Page.

I have three suggestions for you to find out if the recall repair for your furnace has been completed.

1. Contact Skyline Recreational Vehicles directly, they may have the records of the recall record being done. You will need the serial number when you call them. You can call them at (800) 348-7469 or complete this Service Request Form on their website. Make sure you explain to them in the additional comments section that you are looking for Recall repair information; also remember to give them the serial number of your trailer.

2. If Skyline does not have the information you may want to contact the RV Dealer or private owner you bought the trailer from and see if they have the information on the recall repairs being done.

3. If all of the above fails, you may need to take your trailer to an authorized Skyline service center and have one of their RV Technicians inspect the furnace to see if the overlap problem between the exhaust tube and vent assembly has been taken care of.

Hopefully 1 of the 3 solutions above will get you the information you need. If any of our visitors have additional suggestions for you they can add them by clicking on the add a comment link near the bottom of this page.
