How Do I Determine The Value Of My Older Motorhome?

by Jim
(Scottsdale, AZ)

We have a 1987 Bounder which has not been driven in about 6 years. Were currently using it for a guest house and off season storage. Someone stopped by the other day and wants to make an offer on it.

I'm sure the tires are no longer good....after 6 years of nonuse. A tree fell on it last year and dented the drivrs side of the cab. How can I determine the value...junk or otherwise.

ANSWER: Greetings Bob thanks for submitting your question on our Ask An RV Question Page.

The best place to get an estimate of what your RV is currently worth is by visiting the NADA Guides Website.

If you are planning to get estimated values on more then 1 RV you may want to purchase a NADA Recreation Vehicle Appraisal Guide.

Hope this helps.
